This is known as misleading and abusive ads, it opens a lot of windows in Chrome, because its false information causes many people to get fooled and install the applications they recommend and end up with fake virus notifications in the notification bar of the phone.

There are two ways to delete these annoying virus or hot advertising notifications that appear in the phone's notification bar, the first will keep our history and browsing data in Chrome, the second will erase absolutely everything from the browser.

Method 1 to remove virus notifications from Chrome

  • Open the Google Chrome app.
  • Open any web page.
  • To the right of the address bar, tap on the 3 dots.
  • Press "Settings".
  • Then in "Site Settings".
  • Enter the "Notification" section.
  • In the "Permissions" section, tap on the pages to block each notification.

If pages do not appear within the allowed notifications, the site does not have the notifications activated. So you will have to try method 2.

Method 2 to remove virus notifications from Chrome

  • First close the browser completely.
  • Go to the "Settings" or "Settings" of the phone and enter the application manager.
  • Open the information of the Google Chrome browser, and click on "force stop".
  • Then, in Storage, tap on the "clear data" and "clear cache" buttons.
  • Finally, go back to the information tab and at the top right touch the MORE button, there you can touch "Uninstall updates", to leave Chrome to the factory state.

If you have followed these steps correctly, you can go to the Google Play Store and reinstall the latest version of Google Chrome, which will be available as an update in the store.

When you open it, you will notice that the Internet browser is completely clean, just like the first time you used your smartphone, just add your Google account in Chrome again to restore your bookmarks, history, etc.
